We are happy to announce our (free!) SOCIAL JUSTICE CONFERENCE at Hamline University, November 14th, 1pm in Giddens Learning Center.

There will be three sessions:

1) The World is at Our Fingertips: Teachers and Students as Community Problem Solvers

2) Cross-Cultural Simulations: An Experiential Approach to Diversity

3) When is the Time for Social Justice Education? (panel)

We are SUPER happy to announce that Georgette Norman, the director of the Rosa Parks Museum in Montgomery, Alabama, will be a special guest on our panel discussion along with our very own Dr. Wright (Dean of the School of Education) and Jessie Overton (Chair of the Advisory Board at Hamline's Center of Excellence in Urban Teaching).

A .pdf with more detail can be found HERE.
